How to Cook Your First Dish in Farm to Table
A beginner cooking guide for using the pot, adding ingredients, checking unknown recipe slots, and serving the first simple dish.

Cooking controls shown in the footage
- The pot interaction can show Add Ingredient, Cook, and Throw actions.
- The recipe panel has ingredient slots and can show an Unknown Recipe before the combination is known.
- The order bar at the top shows dish icons and required ingredient counts during service.
Safe first-dish workflow
- Check the active order before adding ingredients so you do not cook the wrong dish.
- Put ingredients into the pot one at a time and watch the recipe panel update.
- Use Cook only after the needed ingredients are in place.
- Keep a few extra gathered ingredients nearby so one failed attempt does not end service.
Data to collect next
- Record each ingredient combination that turns from Unknown Recipe into a named dish.
- Capture the finished dish icon, restaurant sale value, market sale value, and cooking time.
- Add the recipe to the database only after the same result is reproduced at least once.
